This Week’s Video: How to Avoid Hunger on a Raw Diet

Hello lovely people.  It’s been a while since I posted, as I’ve had quite an emotional start to the year.  One of my best friends was diagnosed with late stage terminal cancer at New Year, and then my beautifully inspiring grandmother left this world a few days after the news about my friend.  I have to say, in comparison to my darling friend who is only 40, it felt good to celebrate my grandmother’s 96 wonderful years with us. Of course we will miss her physical presence in our lives, but we are rich with memories from our times together.

I haven’t had a chance to do any new recipe videos yet this year, but I’ve found a ‘previously-not-available-to-the-public’ video from a programme I used to run that I thought would be great to share with you this week.  It’s about how to eat for sustained energy and blood sugar balance, and gives you guidelines on how often and what types of food you should be eating to achieve this.  Whether you are new to raw food, dabbling in it or are an experienced raw fooder I know you’ll find something for you here.

Over to you …

If you feel inspired by today’s post and video, please leave a reply at the bottom of the page  :).  I love to hear from you!  x

Hi thankyou very much for this video! I saw it at the right time as I over the last few days I have been finding that though I’d go for the healthy high raw foods at meal times (or healthy cooked foods) I was finding that at certain points during the day the less healthy foods would sneak in as I’d get hungry again really quickly. I’m relatively new to this so I didn’t really consider snacking in between meals as I just assumed I’d get enough during main meals 🙂

Love the video. All common sense stuff in some ways but difficult to see sometimes when you’re in the middle of it all (or unprepared) – thanks Saskia. Sorry to hear you’ve had a tough start to the year. Sending you my best wishes.
