In case you didn’t know, I LOVE juicing! It helps me keep my weight down, my skin looking great and my digestion system working brilliantly. I love it so much I set up a monthly community juice day on the first Tuesday of the month (next one in May :). My juice day helps me reset my eating habits once a month (I have less-than-great habits that creep in too 🙂 and gives my body a day of intensely good nutrition and digestive rest. For days after I’m feeling the benefits. My energy levels are up, my mood is balanced and positive and I look great. Hurray for juice!!!
Before I got into juicing properly I used to worry about how much time it would take, and about having to clean the juicer. I decided to shift my thinking around it so that I saw the whole process as taking time out to really nurture myself. Juicing has become a meditative time of reflection for me. It helps me to remember that by taking the time to do it I’m nourishing myself not only physically but emotionally and spiritually too.
